Opportunities abound at Solid Rock when it comes to leadership development and service. Here are some of the ways students are challenged to grow.

Service Days
Serve guests and campers by helping with camp activities, food service, housekeeping, and other camp ground projects (typically Saturdays).

Church Involvement
Serve as a volunteer in children's or youth ministry at a local ECC church on Wednesday nights.

BWCA Leadership Experience
Learn your personal leadership skills and put them to action in the midst of God's beautiful creation.

"God challenged me in ways I never expected while at Solid Rock. I have learned to cultivate healthy relationships, dig deeper into scripture, and know God in a new and deeper way."

Learning to follow Jesus as his disciple is the heart of Solid Rock. Here are some ways students will be encouraged in their own spiritual journey.

Small Groups
Intentionally gather as a small group once a week to pray together, encourage one another, and dive deeper into Scripture.

Walk through your year at Solid Rock partnering with a staff member who will pray for you, invest in you, and encourage you in growth as a person and a disciple.

Community Dinners
Share a meal with full-time staff and their families once a week; this is followed by community worship night (see above).

Church Participation
Join a local church community on Sunday mornings.

Community Worship Nights

Gather together with full-time staff and their families for a worship night once a week after community dinner (see below). Students have the opportunity to lead these gatherings, along with some of the full-time staff.
