BUILDING ON A FIRM FOUNDATION

What You Can Expect
Biblical Academics
Students work through an intentional curriculum that will give them a solid biblical foundation and guide them in their spiritual formation. Students will earn 27 transferable credits from eight different courses, including Intro to the Bible, Holy Land, History of the Church, Ethics, and more.
Formational Trips
Students embark on three incredible trips, two national and one international, that aid their learning of leadership, service, and the Bible. The Solid Rock Leadership Experience is an eight-day excursion to northern Minnesota's Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. During this formational trip, students will have a hands-on experience learning their leadership style and putting it into practice. The Israel Study Tour is a 14-day trip that coincides with their Holy Land course. After studying the geography of Israel in the fall semester, students spend two weeks in January walking and experiencing the land of the Bible. Service Week is the concluding event of Solid Rock Discipleship, where students return to Northern Minnesota for a week of service and reflection. In this familiar setting, students take time to reflect on how God has impacted their lives over the past year and prepare for the next steps in life, all while lending a hand to our brother and sisters in Christ.
Discipleship & Community
Students learn how to become disciples of Jesus through weekly chapel, one-on-one mentoring, and small groups. We walk alongside young adults as they grow into the likeness of Christ for God’s glory and neighbors’ good. Students will live closely with fellow believers eager to know Jesus better and help one another grow into whom God calls them to be. Proverbs 27:17 "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." We intentionally take time to edify one another in our walks in Jesus and in the fruits we bear.
Leadership & Service
Students will learn about their unique leadership style and have opportunities to grow as leaders in the surrounding community and partnership with Lake Beauty Ministries. Service opportunities include Lake Beauty Bible Camp guest groups, local youth groups, churches, and elementary schools.
